a swall coming over us....

The second evening after we left Dunkerque we got an enormous swall coming up to us. Even if we went fast by motor it reached us in 30 minutes...First it started to blow heavily from all directions, then some haevy rain came. Lucky us we didnt have any sails out when it hit us:)

The second night passed calmly after the swall and the morning after it was a grey and cold day. We sailed perfectly the whole day until early night when we was forced to take in the sails again. The wind wanted to be just in the direction we headed for...The third night passed, but it was bloody cold and wet. We couold realise we was coming closer to the North day by day.

Early in the morning Charlote came and wake me up. It was extremely foggy, we could not see more than approx 100 meters. We were in the middle of a big separation zone for big ships. Our boat are not sending any AIS signal, just recieving. It was 2 quite scary hours before we got out of the zone. We started the radar so we at least could see the other ships, we felt quite small in this moment. Be runned over by a container ship, and no one shlould ever find us again...
